Anchor Frame Rods
Drape & Tension Fabric
Position Stove & Flue
Ignite & Monitor
Secure the lightweight, high-tensile frame rods into the base pockets. Ensure all joints click firmly into place for structural integrity against coastal winds.
Unroll the technical fabric over the frame. Attach guylines to anchor points and tension evenly, eliminating slack to prevent flapping in high winds.
Place the wood stove on its heat-resistant base. Assemble the flue sections, ensuring secure connections, and guide it through the roof port. Maintain clear stove clearance.
Load dry, seasoned wood. Use natural firelighters to ignite. Monitor temperature and ventilation, ensuring a steady, efficient burn for optimal heat.

Optimal Hot-Cold Contrast Ritual
Heat Session: 90°C
Enter the heated sauna for 15-20 minutes. Focus on deep breathing as the sub-zero steam envelops you, preparing your body for the cold plunge.
Glacier-Water Plunge
Immediately transition from the sauna into the cold plunge or arctic water. Immerse fully for 1-3 minutes, embracing the invigorating shock for full recovery benefits.
Repeat & Recover
Repeat the hot-cold cycle 2-3 times. Conclude with a final cold plunge, then warm up slowly, allowing your body to recover and adapt to the extreme conditions.
Responsible Wilderness Use
Prioritize safety in all conditions. Always check weather forecasts for high winds or storms. Ensure guylines are securely anchored and stove clearances are maintained. Never leave a lit stove unattended. Familiarize yourself with local regulations for fire and wilderness access.
Practice Leave No Trace principles. Pack out all waste, including ash. Avoid disturbing local wildlife or vegetation. Choose established, durable surfaces for setup. Respect the pristine nature of the Norwegian coast and mountains for future adventurers.
